The HumanErgology Society is a multidisciplinary professional association of more than 200 persons in Japan and throughout the world. Its members include Ergonomists, psychologists, engineers, designers and scientists, all of whom have a common interest in the interactions between human nature and daily work and living behavior in changing environments. Members are employed in industries, universities and colleges, government agencies and other settings.

HES members can get the following benefits:
  1. Journal of Human Ergology:
    twice a year publication containing articles on important laboratory and practical research.
  2. The Newsletter bringing members news and abstracts about not only important activities held by the HES, but also conference notices, calls for papers and so on.
  3. Opportunity to participate in the HES annual conference and regional conference with Special member prices.
